He started his school life from his village and studied at Shree Dwarika Rastriya Prathamik Bidhyalaya Raghunathpur up to class 5. From Class 6 to SLC (SEE), he went to Shree Fakir Chandra Uchha Mabhi Barkurwa. For higher education, he studied at New Ideal College, Janakpur and went to Kathmandu for further studies, where he completed his bachelors in Journalism and Political Science and Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication from Central Department of Journalism, TU. He even holds a bachelor degree in Law from Central Department of Law, TU.
